Well, my baby is now 3!!! I have to admit he is going through a bit of a demanding stage and when I consider that he is the same age now as Faith was when he was born, I can't imagine him taking the arrival of a new baby quite as well as she did!!!!! good job we have no more planned!!!!!!! School hols are a bit hard work, the age of them both means alot of scrapping and arguing and a lot of refreeing from me. can't take my eyes of them for even a sec, can see this wearing very thin by Sept! Off to see Heather next week, so plan to take loads of pics.

Here is my piano, I love it!!!!
Going to try and post once a week while the summer hols are on, as in theory i should have more time!! The piano finally made it into the house this week due to an elaborate plan by dad and a lot of muscle from Dave. I am so pleased with and quite proud of my achievement as I sanded it and treated it all my little self. Can't wait to start lessons as it is something I have always wanted to do and have never had the chance before. Jack is three on Monday so hope to post some birthday pics next week. Can't believe it, where has my baby gone???!!!! Faith is finding the hols a bit boring so I have signed her up for all the free activities that sure start has to offer!!! off to a free Thomas the Tank engine day tomorrow.

Mmmmm, interesting week. Camp was a disaster. First day was great, kids had loads of freedom, weather was great, site was lovely. Second day, OK uptill dinner, then a kid that I had wanted to bann and hafd relented to let come for half the day, arrived. He just totally tipped the balance and long story really short, 3 of them managed to find spray paint from somewhere and proceeded to spray paint all over the place causing oodles of damage. Consequently we had to abandon the whole thing and cancel the rst of the trip which was an overnight stay for 6 other kids. warden was hopping mad and all the kids were dissappointed. Only 1 0ut of the 3 even gave a stuff and all the staff were really cheesed off. You live and learn and EBD kids never fail to remind you why they are EBD!!! but still a bit of a blow! On the up side, our new kitten has arrived and he is LOVELY!!!!!! Check him out!!!!! He's called Garfield, of course!

Not written for a while. Things are a little more positive, have got over the cat theft now!!!! it's been father's day today so we have had a nice day with all the family round at ours for tea. Jack has not drawn breath today, and much as I love him, I was quite pleased to get him to bed!!!!!!!!!! he has whittered and pestered all day! really busy week this week as it is camp week at school so I will be all over the show. Dave is off this week so hope he can pick up the slack. Will be knackered by Friday!!!!!! Well, even more knackered than usual!

You've got to love insurance companies! Got to say ours have been brill and the fact that the car and keys have been stolen has not really been too inconvenient this week. We have two hire cars at the mo and it looks as if we will be able to afford a new one, so we are chalking that whole experience down as a bit of a nightmare, but ho, hum! Hoping fo a better week, this week, fingers crossed.

Right, what a shit run of bad luck. Some little scrots have nicked our zafira and burnt it out in a field. Bastards!!!! what really bugs me is that we will now be out of pocket, we will have to pay the finance company the gap between what we still owe and what the care was worth and then buy a new catr withour any trade in. Fuck, fuck, fuck. And we will have to get the locks changed as they have nicked our keys from off the hall window sill. Bollox, bollox, bum, arse shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, where to start!!!! Things seemed to have improved with mum and dad after reaching a crescendo last weekend. Haven't backed down, just backed off and stuck to our guns. Looks like it is blowing over. However, shit hit the fan at work. I was told on Fri that the head and the govs have decided not to even interview me for the nurture development manager job as my letter of application was not strong enough. Can't believe it and am absolutely gutted. Really hurt and betrayed. But after ranting/seething/ranting/seething can now see that I don't think the head had any intention of giving it to me. I think he wants Lynn to do it, which is bizarre as she is on maternity leave and has not been there for the majority of the hard graft. So he has let me work my arse off, and then when it's come to the crunch has shafted me in preference to one of his favourites who doesn't really want the job and doesn't know as much about it as me!! I am furious. Obviously, I can't stay there so have been trawling the internet looking for other jobs. Found a few so we will see what happens. I will have to go and speak to him on Tues but the hard thing for me will now be trying to stay professional and retain the moral high ground. Will need to work on that cos at the min feel like going in to his office and twatting him one, stupid little midget! he only comes up to tit height on me anyway! Oops, there I am, veeering out of the moral high ground, must sort that out before tues, keep you posted! Oh and I got done for speeding on sat from one of those sneaky bastard cameras! Anyone else want to have a pop!!!!!??????

Busy week this week! Things went a little better at work this week as I seemed to manage my time better so I wasn't working so much from home. Faith loved after school club and had a great time playing out in the junior playground each day and actually pulled a face if we went to pick her up early!!! Still getting a frosty reception at mum and dad's which I am getting bit fed up about. They will have to get used to the new arrangement because it is better for everyone. Mum's birthday on Monday, have got a present and a card - not sure how to approach it really, do I just call in and drop it off, or do I take the whole tribe, hmmm, not sure, need to think about it. off to the tinker's house to play on their new trampoline, so hopefully will have some pics to post!

Great day today. Went to Stockley farm with Aunty Pat and the kids. Aunty Pat had gone to a lot of trouble and made the kids a lovely tea and had put all her ornaments up high so Faith couldn't fiddle!!!! The weather was gorgeous and despite the fact that both kids had straw in unspeakable places, a great day all round. Just what I needed to lift the spirits.

Still cheesed off today. Dave is very much of the opinion that we should bite the bullet, put Jack in nursery and send Faith to after school club. I understand why he thinks this but if we do that it will be full on war and I don't want that as I love my mum and dad and don't want to have a battle with them, where my kids will be the main ones who loose out. On top of that, my washer and tumble dryer have both packed in at the same time so we have loads and loads of dirty clothes all over the kitchen. I would normally have taken it to my mums but can't do that so will be reduced to wearing sillier and sillier outfits as time goes on. Expecting to be down to my wedding dress by Monday (as if I could still get in it!!!!!) Please come and rescue me, washing machine repair man!!!!! Taking Jack to docs this morning as he seems constipated and off his food. Getting a bit worried about this as it seems to be an ongoing problem. Mary Ann was right, this is therapy on the cheap. Totally boring for anyone else to read, good job you are my only follower, Squid!!!!

Difficult day today. Had a row with my mum which I hate doing as we see so much of her it leaves a big hole when we are not talking. Fallen out over Faith so it makes it really hard as I can see their point and I know where it has come from. My parents are much more leinent with my children than they ever were with me as a child. Faith has been allowed to think she can get away with murder and has well and truly pushed it and now mum and dad are putting their foot down, but what they don't seem to see is that by allowing her to get away with the little things, she has thought that she could treat them like shit and get away with it. They regulary berate me for being too hard on her but that is why I am! So anyway, a pound of flesh must be had for mum to feel better so I have to cop it full in the neck. It's hard as we cannot stand on our dignity and take the hump as we need them for childcare, which they know. it's a real rock and a hard place as I am cross with Faith and them and can see that this is one of the few disadvantages to our childcare arrangement that you wouldn't get with a nursery. But I have always felt fortunate to be able to say that my children have only ever been looked after by people that love them. Right, rant over, not a very interesting or cheerful post, sorry, folks!
